The Easy Way to Book Disney Vacations

If you want to go to Disney World on vacation then you are probably aware that prices for Disney World vacations fluctuate. Deals come and go according to the time of year and who knows what other factors come into play when it comes to how high or low room rates and ticket prices are at any given moment.

I made all the reservations for our first Disney vacation myself. By the time I had waded through countless telephone menus and the exercise of finding a travel agent that was reasonably knowledgeable in matters relating to the Magic Kingdom I was ready to go sit in the plastic swimming pool in the back yard with a beer and call it a day.

Everything went fine; we made it to Orlando and the kids loved every minute that we were in the park. The little rascals were even reasonably appreciative of my efforts. I was pleased that they noticed that mom went through a lot of stress and worry to make sure that their Disney dream vacation was everything that they thought it should be.

When the next break from school rolled around, I caught wind of the dreaded words "Disney World" coming from the kiddy quarters. I knew what was coming; requests for a return trip to Florida. Before the vacation demands could become full blown I decided to start doing some research to see if there was a better way to book a trip to Disney. I wanted an easy way to make reservations and line everything up without losing the opportunity to save some money through comparison shopping.

I had to wade through a few hundred message board posts and then I found exactly what I was looking for. A post from another mom who said that she found a professional Disney planner. Apparently there are individuals who make planning trips to Disney their life's work.

My first reaction was that this service probably added several hundred dollars to the price of the trip. Travel agents get paid through commissions, so a professional who specialized in one destination alone probably charged a fee, right? Wrong! I surfed over to the site where the poster said she found this angel of mercy and found that not only did they make it their business to get you the best deal when you made your reservations, but they kept shopping for discounts and changing your reservations to take advantage of the offers even after your trip was booked.

It has been my experience to believe that anything that seemed too good to be true, usually is but that statement did not apply to our experience of booking a trip through a professional Disney travel planner. By the time we left on vacation our pro had saved us several hundred dollars more than the original price that she had quoted. Whether you are strapped for time or not, I can say that this is one easy way to save some money and book a trip to Disney without tears and torment.
